2011 Ford Edge PricingI keep no secrets about my enjoyment of the Ford Edge. The 2011 version gets even better. The V6 has been boosted to 285 horses and it gets an INCREASE in mpg! Granted its only 1 mile per city, but hey its a start. Pricing has been announced and it is $200 less than last years models. The base SE (FWD) will start at $27,720 and the top end Sport AWD will come in at $38,070. Want to drive one to see what all the hype is about? Call or email us to set up a ride at your local dealer. |

Ford Closes Cost GapFord's "luxury" division, better known as the Lincoln line of cars, has released pricing on the new 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. It will be priced the same as a standard V6 gasoline powered MKZ: $35,180! Lincoln is the first manufacturer to take the premium pricing off of their hybrid vehicle. If the price was exactly the same, would you buy a hybrid over a a standard gasoline car?

July Sales Numbers While 4 of the 6 manufacturers show increases over last year, I would call these numbers a major disappointment for the auto industry overall. 2009 was a horrible year for sales. The industry should be easily beating last year if it is truly in recovery mode. Take into fact record incentives and spending by the industry as a whole and this is not a good sign.
